KRISTY MACKENZIE - Swing

Kristy’s passion for the performing arts was nurtured and developed as a child in her hometown of Wollongong under the guidance of Sher Roberts at Shers’ Studio of Modern Dance. She has performed in the USA, as well as China at the Beijing Children’s Arts Festival. In making the decision to pursue a professional performance career at the tender age of 16 Kristy enrolled in the Diploma of Dance (Performance) at Dance World Studios in Melbourne; graduating in 2006 under a Scholarship Award program with Honours. She recently completed further studies in Film and Television and Television presenting.

Kristy made her professional musical theatre debut in the recent Donmar production of Guys and Dolls, completing both Melbourne and Sydney seasons. Kristy’s other performance experience includes roles in various live stage shows in Melbourne, Singapore and Malaysia with X-Systems Productions; performances at L’Oreal Fashion Week; and television’s Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Kristy is thrilled to be in the cast of this uplifting production, MAMMA MIA!.
